My Favourite Breakfast Burritos
This is one of my newest recipes and has quickly become a favorite. Making breakfast burritos seems challenging but I promise they are easy and delicious!!
I only usually make one of these so keep that in mind with the ingredients, to make more than one you are going to want to double or triple my recipe.Ingredients:
Potatoes: (First Step)
1/2 cup Mccain's hashbrowns
1 tsp butter and olive oil
a small pinch of Cumin, Basil, Oregano, Garlic Powder, and Pepper (to taste)
Eggs:
1 scrambled egg
1 tbsp of Salsa (whatever kind you like, I use medium)
OTHER:
1 Large Tortilla
1 Large Tortilla
Shredded Cheese
Guacamole
Instructions:
1. Put your butter and oil into a hot saucepan and cook the potatoes until they are almost golden, then season them and continue cooking until they are golden brown.
2. In a small bowl scramble your eggs and let them sit until you are ready to cook them.
3. Put your potatoes in your tortilla in the middle and cover them with your cheese (this is so the cheese will melt onto your potatoes), you can then add any toppings you like, I put an extra scoop of salsa and guacamole inside mine!
4. Now cook your eggs, before they are fully cooked you add salsa into them and mix it together, then cook it until they are your desired consistency.
5. Add everything into your tortilla, and now wrap it like a burrito, to do this you fold the sides in, and then keeping everything tight you wrap the top of it into itself.
